Wedding dress time! This is the most important detail for most brides and just like venues wedding dresses are in high demand, so if you find one 10 months prior to your wedding, that’ll be enough time for them to do altering and fit on before the wedding date customisations fitting consultation and alterations.

Think colour! Weddings can change according to the season so it’s important to think colour schemes, which flowers will be in season, booking a person to look over those details should happen around this time.

Organise catering for the reception- if you’re on a budget, hiring a caterer might be cheaper than going with the venues catering options

Celebrant. This person is going to be hosting your wedding ceremony, it’s important that the couple has a good rapport with the celebrant. According to births, deaths and marriages Victoria, the celebrant needs to be registered or an authorised minister of religion

4 month prior

Bridesmaid outfits- if you’re on a budget you might be able to ask your bridesmaids to help out with buying their own outfits/ shoes and jewellery. In this case, you cannot be too picky if you’re asking them to buy it. Take into consideration what kind of whether you might have around that time of the year.

We both had the BEST night of our lives at your venue! I can’t begin to describe in words how incredible it all felt all throughout the night. I genuinely felt that the night itself ran so smoothly without a hitch from start to finish and I honestly could not fault a thing… from the exceptional service by all staff, to the delicious food, to the presentation and set-up of the venue (it looked breathtaking). We have received nothing but wonderful, positive feedback from all our friends and family who attended the night. Both Tanvi and Kate were so amazing! Andrea and myself have said that to each other and so many other people when the topic of wedding planning comes up in conversation.

Tavni, Trung and the team at The Lincoln of Toorak have been wonderful from the moment we booked our event to the finish. No request was too big or too difficult and always met with a smile and friendliness. Would not hesitate in recommending for your next event and we will be back!
